Pedestrian in Hudson not seriously injured after getting hit by a pickup truck

HUDSON - Police are investigating an accident involving a pickup truck and a pedestrian but say no one was seriously injured.

The accident happened around 7 p.m. on Friday night near 196 Central Street. Police say Nicholas Cadieux, 23, of Londonderry, was driving a 2002 Chevy Silverado and was heading west when Michael Letares, 49, of Hudson, walked north across Central Street and into Cadieux's travel lane.

Police say Letares was not in a cross walk and was several feet away from the intersection with Burnham Road.

Letares was taken to the hospital for minor non life-threatening injuries. Cadieux was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
