Paul Ryan debates Democratic House challenger

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) Republican Congressman Paul Ryan says he's not sure that climate change is man-made or can be remedied.
Ryan on Monday was debating his Democratic challenger, businessman Rob Zerban. Ryan says proposals to combat climate change are too costly and no one can be sure that they will work.
Zerban says climate change is serious and humans are to blame. Zerban says it also is an opportunity for Americans to invest in renewable energy that produces less of the pollution that scientists say is responsible for climate change.
Ryan has previously questioned the data climate scientists use.
Ryan is heavily favored to win re-election in his Republican-leaning district in southern Wisconsin. He and Zerban ran against each other in 2012, when Ryan was Mitt Romney's vice presidential pick.
