Patriots gearing up to face the Dallas Cowboys in first-ever trip to AT&T Stadium

FOXBOROUGH - It was only a practice day but it was an eventful one.

The Patriots are 3-0, coming off their early bye week and getting ready for the Dallas Cowboys. It will be the Patriots first ever trip to AT&T Stadium since it was built in 2009.

"They use their depth; they use it throughout the course of the game. It looks like they try to wear you down a little bit and they have the depth to do it," said Patriots' head coach, a Bill Belichick.

Dallas is missing many players due to injury, including their quarterback, Tony Romo and star receiver Dez Bryant. The team will have Greg Hardy and linebacker Ronaldo McClain back.

"I'm just getting ready to play man," said Tom Brady when asked about Hardy's comments. "He's a good player. It takes a lot to handle a guy like that. I don't really care about his personal feelings."

While Brady shook off that comment, Bill Belichick had a surprising moment in his press conference.

When a reporter asked him about an earlier comment, he said, "What were you, on 'Snapface' when we were talking about it?"

Also Wednesday, Sealver Silinga said that when the Patriots practiced in the preseason with the Saints, one player stood out to him immediately; that player was Akiem Hicks.

He thought Hicks utilizes his size well. Last week, Hicks was traded to the Patriots from the Saints for a future draft pick. He's a 324 lb., 6 foot 5 defensive end. He's had 164 total tackles in his 48 NFL games.

"Scheme is scheme," said Hicks. "This is my first time being traded to a new team since I've been in the NFL. It's definitely a transition period and I'm learning as fast as I can."

Patriots have out-scored their opponents 119-70 in the first 3 games, but Belichick said the Cowboys have the best offensive line in the league. Kick-off is Sunday at 4:25 eastern in Dallas. You can hear the game in Concord on 99.1 NH1 News, with pregame coverage at 1:30pm.

The game can also be heard in Nashua on 106.3 Frank FM, in Laconia on AM 1490 WEMJ, and on 98.3 LNH in the Lakes Region.
