Patriots gear up not only for win against Miami Dolphins but to keep record in tact

FOXBOROUGH- The Patriots are coming off of a 30-23 win over the New York Jets but a quick turn around as they gear up for another division game when they host the Miami Dolphins on Thursday.

But it will be a tough game for the Patriots, with the Dolphins trending upward.

"They really can tee off on the quarterback," said Tom Brady today. "We've got to be tough, be firm inside and execute well."

"They’ve created a lot of electric plays defensively and we’re going to have to try to eliminate those, do our job and outscore them," said Danny Amendola.

The Dolphins are making big strides. Under their new interim coach- Dan Campbell, they’ve won 2 games in a row by a combined score of 82-36.

Ryan Tannehill has 25 consecutive completions- an NFL record and was not intercepted once in Sunday’s win over Houston.

"I mean, 25 straight completions, I mean it's hard to do that when there's no defense out there," said Brady. "To throw and to catch like that so efficiently, and they're making big plays, too. So they're an explosive offense. They've got a lot of guys who can make plays. So we on our offense have to really counter that."

Both teams have a tight turn around and will be challenged both physically and mentally.

They say the hardest part is cramming in the film and studying plays. Brady is looking to not just keep his team undefeated this season but also to keep his undefeated Thursday record in tact.
