Patriots fans nervous, excited about Super Bowl matchup
There was a calm confidence as Patriots fans settled in to watch the AFC Championship game. But that quickly gave way to a lot of cheering as the Patriots took the lead early in the game and never looked back.
"Patriots are taking it all the way. Seattle, the Patriots. The Patriots got it," said Patriots fan Krissy Moulis.
"Patriots fan doubting what the Patriots have to offer should check themselves before they Belichick themselves," said Patriots fan Charlie Geary.
For Coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady, it's another trip back to the Super Bowl after falling short the last two years in the AFC Championship.
The Patriots will make their eighth appearance in the Super Bowl, tying Dallas and the Pittsburgh for most appearances. For Brady and Belichick its their 6th appearance together in the big game since Brady became the starting quarterback back in 2001.Belichick also has two appearances with the Giants.
Speaking of the Giants, they faced the Patriots the last time the Super Bowl was held in Arizona back in 2011. Patriots won't be playing the Giants this time around, and fans are eager for the team to bring back the Vince Lombardi trophy.
"I want to go to another Super Bowl. I want to get that fourth ring so bad. I know Tom Brady does, too," said Patriots fan Merretith Young.
Knowing the Patriots, preparing for the big game has already started.
