Patriots expecting different tone during this week's game vs. rival Jets

FOXBOROUGH- The Patriots are ready to defend their 5-0 record as they sit atop of the AFC east.

This week they face a division opponent right behind them in the standings - the Jets are 4-1. Some call this the toughest opponent yet of the Pats' season.

"We have confidence to get our job done," Danny Amendola said. "Defensively they're a great team. They're going to play hard."

Bill Bellichick said this Jets team is big, physical and makes you pay on turnovers. They're defensively dominant ranking top 5 in 9 major defensive categories. They'll have a bit of an advantage with Darrelle Revis, who won the Super Bowl with the Patriots last year, but signed with the Jets as a free agent in the offseason.

"He sees the formations, the routes and splits and anything that can ho him get an idea of when the ball is coming his way or if it's going the other way," Tom Brady said of Revis. "He covers the top guys every week."

It's a rivalry game but expect a different tone than years past with Todd Bowles as the head coach, taking over for Rex Ryan. Kickoff is Sunday at Gillette Stadium at 1pm.
