The former president of the N.H. School Boards Association was arrested and charged with drunk driving.
Anthony Pastelis, 58 of Rochester, was arrested on Friday night.
Rochester Police, Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to a call at 11:59 p.m. to discover a blue 2013 Dodge Charger had struck a light pole on 160 Washington St. causing minor damage but no injuries.
According to his LinkedIn account, Pastelis is also vice chair of the Rochester School Board and also teaches at Endicott College and Northcentral University.
Pastelis was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court in July.
