MANCHESTER - The fire department responded to roof collapse this morning.
Sunday Feb. 22 the district fire Chief Mark Pelletier said that a portion of a roof from a building located at 1297 Elm street collapsed.
Pelletier stated that a piece of the roof about 40 feet by 4 feet of the four story building fell onto a one story building below.
There was no apparent damage to the one story building but the cockloft or small attic of the main building is now exposed.
Pelletier also reported that the building manager, Elver, was on scene.
