Part of Route 125 closing for short time Saturday morning in Rochester

ROCHESTER - Route 125 in Rochester will be closed to traffic between the Brock Street and Old Dover Road intersections on Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m.

A new pedestrian bridge is being installed over the Cocheco river.

Southbound traffic will be detoured down Old Dover Road, then across Tebbetts Road, and back onto Pickering Road which will bring travelers back to Route 125 just south of the Spaulding Turnpike.

Northbound traffic will be detoured across Brock Street, then down Washington Street, and back toward downtown on North Main Street, which will lead travelers back to Route 125.
