Parking meters and vending machines vandalized at Weirs Beach


LACONIA — Parking meters and vending machines near Weirs Beach were vandalized sometime Tuesday night, police said.

Police received a report Thursday at about 9:45 a.m. regarding vandalism that occurred near Weirs Beach. Eight parking meters and two vending machines at the Mount Washington pier were smashed, police said.

No one has been arrested at this time.

Anyone with information regarding this vandalism incident is asked to call the Laconia Police Department 603-524-5252.
