Parking bans throughout New Hampshire
Several cities and towns in New Hampshire have parking bans because of the snowstorm.
North Hampton: A snow emergency has been declared for 6 p.m. Nov. 26 through 6 a.m. Thursday. During that time any on-street parking that hinders snow removal or blocks emergency vehicles from being able to pass through is prohibited.
Milford: The snow removal parking ban remains is in effect from 1-6 a.m. Thursday and subsequent nights until lifted. More information at www.milford.nh.gov or 249-0602.
Pembroke: A snow emergency parking ban is in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday. There is no parking on town roads during this time.
Portsmouth: A citywide parking ban goes into effect during storms that produce 2 inches or more of snow. Residents can call (603) 766-7669 for updates. Click here for more information and to view a map of lots where residents can park.
Rochester: A citywide parking ban is in effect from 10 p.m. Wednesday through 7 a.m. Thursday.No vehicles without an exemption permit can park on city streets or in city parking lots during this time.
Somersworth: The city has declared snow emergency and winter parking ban beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday and continuing until 7 a.m. Thursday. No parking is allowed on city streets during this time period.
