JERUSALEM (AP) West Bank hospital officials say a Palestinian man wounded in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank has died.
The officials say the man died of gunshot wounds on Tuesday. There was no immediate information on his identity.
The Israeli army says the clashes erupted near the city of Hebron where about 150 Palestinian demonstrators were throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at Israeli soldiers.
The soldiers' attempts to disperse the crowd using tear gas and rubber bullets failed, prompting the troops to open fire, killing the Palestinian man.
