Owen Labrie sexual assault victim to give 1st public interview on 'Today' show

The victim of Owen Labrie, the St. Paul's School student convicted of sexual assault, will give her first public interview Tuesday morning on NBC's "Today" program, reports the Boston Globe.

The teen's parents are suing the prep school over the 2014 assault, asserting that the school did not adequately protect their daughter.

NBC released a statement saying that the female victim, a 15-year-old when assaulted, will "speak out for the first time" in an interview with Savannah Guthrie.

The show airs at 7 a.m.
