Over 40 Phillips Exeter alumni ask victims to boycott school's sexual misconduct probe
EXETER — Phillips Exeter Academy alumni are asking victims to boycott the school's sexual misconduct investigation that seems to be taking too long.
The investigation has been going on for five months and those involved feel as though the progress is too slow, according to the Boston Globe.
Only one of the 12 members of a Facebook group created for survivors of sexual violence has been contacted by the national law firm hired by the school.
Susannah Curtis, who was sexually assaulted by a classmate in 1989, expressed concern with the law firm's ability to impartially investigate the matter given that they were hired by the school.
