Ossipee police find 67 grams of heroin in vehicle carrying 2 children, arrest mother

OSSIPEE - Police have arrested a mom and charged her with having drugs in a car with her two children as passengers.

Police stopped Marie Fletcher, 28, of Ossipee on Jan. 15 and seized her vehicle at the time.

Police requested and executed a search warrant on the vehicle.

During the search, police found almost 67 grams of heroin, an undisclosed quantity of Fentanyl and other drugs that are being tested.

Fletcher was arrested on a warrant on Jan. 21 and was charged with three felony counts of possession of drugs, one with the intent to distribute, as well as two misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child.

She has been released on $2,000 cash bail.
