Open Road Hooksett Toll lanes to be closed Wednesday night

The Associated Press

HOOKSETT (AP) - The New Hampshire Department of Transportation is closing both the northbound and southbound Open Road Toll lanes at the Hooksett Tolls on Interstate 93 for one night for sign maintenance work.

The closure is scheduled Wednesday from 11:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday.

It's necessary in order to perform sign maintenance on existing overhead sign structures and for the installation of new E-ZPass signs for the E-ZPass 7-Day to Pay program. That allows drivers who aren't E-ZPass customers to go online to pay for their trip within seven days.

During the closure, all motorists will be guided via signs and traffic cones to the non-open road toll portion of the Hooksett Tolls to pass through either dedicated E-ZPass lanes or cash lanes.
