One person hospitalized after being stabbed in Manchester

MANCHESTER - Police said a city man was stabbed in the Spruce Street area Tuesday night.

The 26-year-old victim said he was attacked by a Caucasian male who was with two other people at the time, police said.

The victim was taken to the Elliot Hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury to the back of his neck.

The victim told police he believed the three men were operating an older model Ford SUV, possibly green.

Police said the victim told them the suspect was a passenger in the SUV and stabbed while still seated in the vehicle.

The victim said the suspect was average height and had a close shaved head with a goat-tee style beard and mustache and possibly 26-years-old or order.

The investigation is ongoing.
