One person dead following Candia car crash


CANDIA - One person died in a one-car crash on the westbound side of Route 101 this morning, according to state police.

According to one witness, the car was travelling near Exit 3 at 8:32 a.m. when it veered to the right, went airborne, and came to a rest in a on its roof in a wooded area. Police have not released any information on the victim. There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the accident.

The highway was shut down for about two hours. The New Hampshire State Police were assisted by the Candia Police Department, Candia Fire Department, and N.H. Department of Transportation.
