NY man charged with drunken driving following Laconia motorcycle crash that injured himself, passenger
LACONIA - A New York man was charged with drunken driving following a motorcycle crash that injured himself and his female passenger.
Police said Jamie Doolan, 42, of Middletown, N.Y., was driving the motorcycle at 2:18 a.m. Monday when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck a light pole. Doolan and his passenger were thrown 20 to 30 feet from the motorcycle. Police said Doolan sustained a broken wrist, while his passenger sustained several pelvic fractures.
Doolan was charged driving while intoxicated and is expected to be arraigned today in Laconia District Court.
