Nursing assistant pleads guilty to sexually assaulting elderly patient in Goffstown
GOFFSTOWN — A Bel-Air Nursing Home and Rehab Center Legal Nursing Assistant has pleaded guilty to unlawful contact with a 79-year-old patient.
Timothy Morrissey, of Manchester, admitted that he used his mouth to suck on the breast of a woman who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
He was charged with sexual assault, a misdemeanor. Considering his intent to take advantage of the woman, he was subject to a longer prison sentence.
Morrissey was sentenced to up to 5 years in state prison. He will be evaluated for sex offender treatment while in prison.
He will be unable to reinstate his LNA license and may not seek employment in the care of the elderly, disabled, or children.
