CONCORD - The number of overdose deaths in New Hampshire continues to climb.
The state is reporting so far for 2016 there have been 27 confirmed deaths; 16 men and 11 women. There are 84 cases awaiting toxicology reports.
In 2015, there were 431 deaths reported with six cases outstanding. This is compared to 2012 when there were just 163 confirmed drug overdose deaths reported in the state.
