New Hampshire non-profits will soon be able to strengthen their financial future with the opening of the Nonprofit Sustainability Institute.

Presented through the NH Center for Nonprofits ,the institute will offer nonprofit directors assistance based on the theories of Steve Zimmerman, author of "The Sustainability Mindset".

Ten organizations will be able to apply for the specialized training.

Nonprofit principals will be able to identify challenges to their organizations and move towards sustainability using his teachings.

”Nonprofit leaders face an array of complex, changing, urgent pressures that require sophisticated management skills and fiscal strategy,” said Kathleen Reardon, CEO of the NH Center for Nonprofits. “This program underscores the interconnectedness between mission impact and financial viability – and provides tools to help organizations strengthen their revenue strategies and business models.”

Organizations interested in the program can find more information at www.nhnonprofits.org/sustainability.
