No soccer fields will be built on Nashua farm after petition gets 600 signatures

NASHUA — City planners have rejected the proposal to construct two soccer fields on Yudicky Farm.

A petition gained more than 600 signatures urging officials to deny the request to build two soccer fields, a gravel parking area and access road, the Union Leader reported.

This proposal proved to be controversial as adding the fields would impact trails, and affect valuable, natural resources that filter the water that provides habitat to wildlife and plants, said a member of the local conservation commission.
