NH1 Weather Insider with meteorologist Bill Gile for September 7, 2015

High pressure will be sitting of the east coast for the next few days and will be pumping in the heat and humidity. For many folks in central and southern NH it looks like a building heat wave with 3 days of 90+ temperatures. In northernmost NH a front will drift down from Canada to create a bit of cloudiness for Monday and Tuesday along with a threat of a shower or thundershower in those areas. Otherwise, lots of sunshine will be coming our way.

A frontal system will finally move in for Thursday with thunderstorm activity that will break the heat and humidity, giving us cooler air by week's end with highs only in the 70s. Some of the developing storms could become quite strong. Showers will lingering into Friday and then slowly dry up into the weekend. We really could use the rain since we've been in such a dry pattern lately.

Have a great week!
