NH1 Weather Insider with meteorologist Bill Gile for September 28, 2015, 2015

High pressure to our east now is still close enough to give us another great day and warmer temperatures along with a slight increase in humidity. In fact the warm and muggy air continues in Tuesday, but by then there will be some showers developing. Highs will be climbing back into the mid and upper 70's Monday and mid 70s Tuesday.

As a cold front approaches from the northwest Tuesday we will see much needed showers developing and some of them could be briefly heavy. It's even possible you might hear a few rumbles of thunder, especially in the western part of the state by the evening hours. The front pushes through the area Wednesday morning with a lingering shower then some clearing will move in for the afternoon and temperatures begin to cool. Thursday and Friday will have highs only in the upper 50s and Lower 60's. Brr! Definite fall weather which should start to bring on the foliage season which is currently running about 2 weeks behind because of the warm September we have had!
