NH1 Weather Insider with meteorologist Bill Gile for September 27, 2015

What a weekend for this first weekend of fall! High pressure is now beginning to drift to the east of us but will give us another sunny day today and will try to hold clouds at bay tonight so that we can view the full Super Harvest Moon along with a Total Lunar Eclipse! This is epic stuff kids so make sure you get outside and take advantage of this.

A storm churns south of New England and high clouds from it will be advancing into southern New England late Sunday night, but they should hold off until after the eclipse is over...but it will be close! Clouds will increase after midnight and be in place for Monday and Tuesday. Winds will be from the SW to start the week, so even with clouds, and breaks of sun...highs will be climbing back into the 70's. A cold front will push through quickly on Wednesday, but may finally produce a couple of showers out ahead of it Tuesday night and early Wednesday. Once the front is gone we'll see clearing skies and cooling temperatures to end next week. Next Thursday and Friday will have highs only in the Lwr 60's even with the sunshine. Brr! Definite fall weather which should start to bring on the foliage season which is currently running about 2 weeks behind because of the warm September we have had!

Have a great weekend!
