NH1 Weather Insider with meteorologist Bill Gile For Sept. 5, 2015

High pressure will be in firm control of our weather pattern all weekend long as it drifts down from the north and gradually slips off the east coast. That means nice pleasant sun-filled days and very comfortable air.

Winds will be light on Saturday and from the SE so the beaches will still be near 70-76, while inland areas will approach 80 degrees. By Sunday a warmer wind from the SW will begin to take over so highs will climb into the mid-80's under abundant sunshine. Some areas will reach the upper 80s. The warming trend will continue right into next week. Highs will climb to near 90 or better on Labor Day and even some Lwr 90's will be possible around Tuesday and Wednesday with building humidity.

A frontal system will finally move in for Thursday with thunderstorm activity that will break the heat and humidity, giving us cooler air by week's end with highs only in the 70s. Enjoy this weather because this is about as good as it gets!

Have a great weekend!
