High pressure returns for Monday and Tuesday with another cooler shot of air as highs will only be in the upper 40s and Low 50's, but at least there'll be a good deal of sunshine. Then, by midweek it looks like a strong storm will be developing over the Great Lakes and it will be sending some much needed rainfall our way Wednesday night and early Thursday. Some of the rain may be heavy at times and will be accompanied by some gusty winds both during and after the event. Rainfall totals could reach 1-1.5 inches across the region. Temperatures will also warm a bit during the rain event with highs climbing to the low-mid 60s for Thursday, but after the storm departs on Friday we'll be back struggling to reach 50 again.
