high pressure to the south of New England will continue to push warmer temperatures our way through Columbus day, but a cold front coming in late Tuesday will threaten with a few showers and put an end to the holiday warmth. In fact, the second half of the week will feature a gradual cool down day by day.

In the meantime, our Sunday and Monday will be filled with lots of sunshine and highs in the mid-upper 60s Sunday then climbing between 70-75 Monday! The nights won't be as cool either. Once that cold front comes through late Tuesday it will produce a couple of afternoon showers then those high temperatures will be cooling to the upper 50s by the end of the week.

Both Wednesday and Thursday look to be fairly dry, but Friday will threaten with more showers from another weather system that will last into next weekend with highs barely reaching the low 50s next Saturday.
