We'll have a quiet day today with clouds on the increase for the afternoon. Those clouds will bring snow showers to the region after midnight tonight as Low pressure approaches from the Great Lakes. Meanwhile another storm will be gaining strength off the mid-Atlantic coast and passing well south of New England Monday morning. However, that may come just close enough to feed a little extra energy into the weak system crossing the Granite State.

A general steady light snow will be with us Monday morning with some enhanced snowfall along the western slopes of the mountains and throughout the northern half of the CT river valley. These areas could pick up 3-5 inches, especially in the mountains while lower elevations to the south to the MA border will generally get 1-2 inches with a few isolated 3 inch amounts.

Everything clears away for the afternoon as windy and very cold air settles in. After that its bright, but cold for the rest of the week.
