NH1 Weather Insider with meteorologist Bill Gile for December 5, 2015

We'll be in a rather benign weather pattern this week. High pressure will sit right over us all weekend with sunshine, light winds and near perfect conditions for early December. Saturday will see highs nearing 50 in southern NH. By Sunday, highs will be climbing to near 50-55 in Southern New Hampshire, slightly cooler in the north.

The High will begin to pull off the coast to start off next week. Sunshine and dry air will hold Monday into Tuesday. Onshore winds will develop during the mid week as we watch for a potential storm to develop off the Mid-Atlantic coastline. At this point in time it looks like that storm will stay out at sea and only send some clouds our way.

Overall, it is a dry weather pattern with temperatures averaging above normal for the entire week into next weekend with a big flat upper level ridge dominating the eastern half of the nation. The next chance of any cold returning to the region will be somewhere around December 15th-18th.

Have a great weekend!
