NH1 Weather Insider with Joe Joyce: September 4, 2015

NH1 Chief Meteorologist

The cold front has pushed through and we are off to the races! Wow! You never what you have until it's gone. Welcome back fresh Canadian air! Cooler NE breezes will help to keep the coastline cooler today with highs near 68-70 at the beaches. Inland will be absolutely delightful with skies becoming mostly sunny Friday and highs in the mid 70's by afternoon with falling dewpoints. High pressure will begin to right down over us this Labor Day weekend keeping the humidity away and ensuring absolutely amazing weather right through the weekend. Winds will be light on Saturday and from the SE so the beaches will still be near 70-76, while inland areas will approach 80 Saturday with sunshine. The high will slide farther south Sunday with a warmer wind from the SW so highs will climb into the mid-80's. Some areas Sunday may even try to get near 88. The warming trend will continue right into next week with high pressure and a big upper level firmly entrenched in the northeast. Highs will climb to near 90 on Labor Day and even some Lwr 90's will be possible around Tuesday and Wednesday with building humidity. There are signs some cooler, more seasonal air will be arriving somewhere around the tenth and into next weekend. Enjoy this weather because this is about as good as it gets!
