Another cool start with some patchy fog at dawn. But no worries! This Tuesday will be filled with sunshine, light winds and somewhat warmer temperatures with highs climbing back up into the 60's to near 70 by afternoon. A high surf advisory remains in effect with seas running about 4-7 feet. Dry pleasantly mild air will remain in place through the mid week with temperatures even climbing into the lwr 70's by Wednesday ahead of a weak cold front. This front will push off the coast late Wednesday with a few fair weather clouds and a wind shift back to the NW.
Building high pressure will return for the the end of the week with seasonally cooler air Thursday with highs in the lwr 60's. Clouds will be increasing Friday ahead of another front which promises to have a better chance of at least a few showers. High pressure returns for the weekend with another shot of crisp fall air with highs in the 50's and lwr 60's. This coming weekend will be a much better weekend for those fall festivals, apple picking and leaf peeping with more sunshine and less wind. There will also be that chill to the air which will have you reaching for those warmer fall clothes for comfort. Even the wood stove can be nice for comfort at night!
