NH1 Weather Insider with Joe Joyce: November 27, 2015

NH1 Chief Meteorologist

Thanksgiving was just wonderful. So nice to take a moment, just breathe and be thankful for the blessings we share. A gorgeous Friday can be expected. A few morning clouds will be possible. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 50's and Lwr 60's during the afternoon. Highs will be running about 10-15 degrees above the norm as the mild feel will flood into New England under SW winds. Clouds will start to spread back into the region towards sunset as a cold front will approach Friday night. It will push through during the early morning hours of Saturday with clouds and the chance for a few passing showers. I expect Saturday to start off a bit cloudy and damp, but as the front pushes farther offshore, building high pressure will slide closer towards us and advect cooler drier air into New Hampshire. Clouds will start to break Saturday afternoon for some partial sunshine and highs in the mid 40's. The colder air will be arriving Saturday night with clearing skies and lows dropping into the Lwr 20's. The high will sit right over Sunday through Tuesday with sunny, calm conditions and seasonally cool temps. The next chance of showers will come late Tuesday and likely turn into a steadier batch of rain Tuesday night through early Wednesday. There are still some questions with track, ptype, timing along with that midweek batch. We will be fine tuning the forecast as we get closer. Enjoy the milder while it lasts!
