We have arrived! The Memorial day weekend has arrived! Luckily, the weather will cooperate just fine! Friday starts off with early clouds pulling off the coast. Sunshine will take over for the rest of the morning. A gorgeous start to the day with temperatures climbing to near 70 by noon. Clouds will start to increase by noon time into the afternoon along with a cold front. Skies will turn partly cloudy. There is a slight risk of a passing shower with the passage of this front. Once through, the winds will pick up from the NW later in the day and direct in unseasonal cooler air in across New Hampshire for the evening with clear skies. Lows in be in the 20's in the north country and 30's elsewhere. I expect a widespread frost in the cooler NW valleys of NH early on Saturday morning.
The weekend looks awesome. Saturday will be sunny, with a cool active wind from the WNW with gust 20 to 30. Highs will range from 60 to 65. High pressure will slide south of New England Sunday and direct in a warmer west wind which will push temperatures back into the 70's near 80 in spots. Definitely the pick of the weekend. On Memorial Day, clouds will increase a bit with a warm front stationed SW of New Hampshire. Skies will be partly sunny to Mostly cloudy. The good news is it looks mainly dry with highs still warm in the 70's. There is a slight risk of a shower as this warm front pushes through.
Behind the warm front, it is a summer surge of warmth and humidity! For all the heat and humidity haters out there, this will not be the best kind of weather for you. A cold front will remain north of us until Thursday keeping the warm soupy conditions in place as temps will be in the mid-upper 80's! Each day will have a risk of a afternoon T'storm. The cold front should make a more serious push south on Thursday with a better chance of some heavier rain and bigger storms.
Make sure you take the time this weekend to find a parade to honor all the brave sous who gave their lives so we could enjoy the freedom and riches of this wonderful country!
