A long holiday weekend for most of us this Columbus Day weekend. A building high pressure will bring a sparkling day of sunshine and seasonably cool temperatures to kick off the weekend with a definite feel of fall with highs only in the 50s.
Saturday night will be one of the coolest nights of the season with clear to partly cloudy skies. Lows will drop into the 30s.
The high will set up south and west of New England Sunday and begin to wrap in a warm southwest wind into New Hampshire with temps into the mid 60s.
The warm up will continue right into Columbus Day with more sunshine and even warmer air with highs climbing to near 70-75 degrees.
