NH1 Weather Insider with Jenna Abate: June 20, 2015

We kick off Saturday morning with a cool start, but sunshine will be warming temps right back into the mid 70's for the afternoon. Winds will be light from the SSE, so temps could be slightly cooler in the Lwr 70's at the beaches. A great day to be outside at Rock’n Ribfest or the end of Motorcycle Week.

Sunday is a big day not only for dads, but also for summer lovers! The Summer Solstice officially arrives at 12:39 PM Sunday. It’s the longest day of year with our sun setting at 8:30 in the evening.

Sunday we’ll see some wet weather track through as the remnants of Tropical storm Bill will be arriving in the Northeast. It’s a bit more humid day with the potential for scattered showers at any point of the day will be possible. It won’t be raining the whole day but when it does rain, it could come down heavily.
