NH1 Weather Insider with Jenna Abate: December 26, 2015

High pressure will slide over us Saturday and we’ll see plenty of sun, but slightly cooler air in the 40's possibly 50's for more southern regions. Clouds will be increasing during the afternoon ahead of a warm front, which will bring in a period of rain late Saturday night through the early morning hours of Sunday.

Much cooler air will be directed back into New England starting Sunday night. Snow showers will possibly develop in the mountains.

A strong high from Canada will follow in behind this front and direct a significant cold shot of air over New England Monday. Highs will only be able to reach 32. So it will be a reminder that yes, we really are just getting started on this winter season. The cold air will stick around and when the next batch of moisture arrives on Tuesday, we are talking about the very real potential of our first accumulating snow of the season.

Stay Tuned!
