NH1 Weather Insider with Cyrena Arnold for Nov. 23, 2015

The clouds are moving out but the wind has moved in! Now that the cold front is moving east off the coast, we will see a northwesterly wind on Monday that will not only keep temperatures cool in the 30’s, but make it feel even cooler than it actually is. The winds will begin to calm on Monday night and temperatures will drop into the teens in many places overnight. Tuesday will be a couple degrees warmer, but the winds will be much calmer making it feel much warmer than Monday.

On Wednesday we start to see some changes as high pressure builds to our south, bring in warmer air and increasing temperatures into the mid 40’s. This also makes for a beautiful and warm Thanksgiving with temperatures in the 50’s! That’s something we can all be thankful for.

We will start to see some changes on Friday evening as a cold front approaches from the Great Lakes, bringing with it cooler and rain, as well as a chance of snow for the higher elevations. This front moves through the area late Friday evening into Saturday. This will drop temperatures back below seasonable levels on Sunday.
