NH1 Weather Insider: Summer warmth returns
NH1 Chief Meteorologist - NH1.com
A cold front has pushed off the coast and swept all the humidity away. The next weather we will be watching is a shift of warmer, more summer like air from the midwest into the northeast. Several days will be in the 80's and finally beach lovers will get the weather they have been looking for!
What a great Wednesday with mostly sunny skies, light WSW winds and high near 80-85 degrees during the afternoon. A weak warm front will approach Wednesday night with more clouds and the risk of a passing shower during the overnight hours. Thursday will start off with a few clouds as the front pushes off the coast, but skies will be bright and temperatures will be warm as skies become partly sunny, with breezy WSW winds and highs in the middle-upper 80's. Warm air will remain with us right into Friday with Partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80's.
Clouds will be increasing Friday night, as a low pressure system will track from the Great Lakes into New England to start off the weekend. Unfortunately, Saturday is looking a bit unsettled with clouds and periodic showers, embedded thunderstorms during the morning and may last into the early afternoon. Clouds and showers will keep temps in the 70's.
High pressure will settle in for the the second half of the weekend with plenty of sunshine for Sunday into Monday with low humidity and highs in the 70's and Lwr 80's. Just wonderful. It will likely get a little showery again around here to the middle of next week. No biggie. Easy breezy weather. Get those fans ready...you just may need them!
