It really looks like a great weekend to be at the beach or on the lake or your favorite swimming hole!
High pressure will be moving south of the region for our Sunday and as it does so it will be turning up the discomfort levels a bit as dewpoint temperatures will begin to rise into the lower 60s. We'll see plenty of sunshine to start the day with some fog in the valleys, but as we go through the day we'll notice some fair weather clouds mixing in. In southern NH high temperatures are going to be climbing into the low 90s away from the shore, but even the beaches and lakes regions will reach the upper 80s!
That high pressure area moves away Monday and it will remain muggy with more in the way of clouds developing for the afternoon along with a scattered shower. A slow moving weather system coming from the Great Lakes region will work its way eastward into New England for Tuesday and Wednesday. As a result, numerous showers and thunderstorms will be developing in an even more humid air mass. These showers and storms will be loaded with water and can produce some heavy downpours so check back for updates on that as we get closer to it.
Less humid air will finish out the upcoming week along with a good deal of sun and highs in the low 80s.
Have a great weekend!
