Snowy and wet for our Tuesday with the first snowfall of the season under our belts. The more impressive snow totals came from the higher elevations as expected which is good news for ski country.

Now the dig out! Roadways and conditions should be back to normal today.

Drier conditions with a cloudy start and eventually there could be a little bit of partial sunshine. Temperatures stay cold through the evening with daytime highs near 40 and overnight lows right around the freezing mark.

Wednesday night, a weak system could bring a few mixed showers into early Thursday morning in the northern half of the state.

The good news is we'll dry out by week’s end, just in time for New Year celebrations.
