NH1 Top 5: The best restaurants in Plymouth

NH1.com heads up Interstate 93 to take a look at what customers on Yelp.com, a website that allows customers to rate and write reviews for restaurants, are calling the five best in Plymouth.

5) Lucky Dog Tavern & Grill at 51 Main St.

Lucky Dog is a bar and grill that is popular with college students at Plymouth State, but might be worth the try if you're passing through on your way to the mountains or campgrounds. Customers have written highly of the bourbon barbeque chicken, the homemade soups and cold beer selection. Out of 29 reviews, customers have given Lucky Dog a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars.

4) Italian Farmhouse at 337 Daniel Webster Highway

Owned by the Common Man family, the Italian Farmhouse branch in Plymouth offers Italian food in a rennovated farmhouse building. Customers enjoy the bread bar, the artichoke crustini and the pizza. Out of 51 reviews on Yelp, the Italian Farmhouse has earned an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

3) Thai Smile at 135 Main St.

Thai Smile offers Thai cuisine and a number of drink and dessert specials. Customers have rated the crab rangoon, crispy wonton and the avocado rolls highly. Out of 25 customer reviews on Yelp, Thai Smile has received an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

2) Biederman's Deli at 83 Main St.

One customer called it a "local gem." Biederman's Deli is a beer and sandwich shop that is home to the self-proclaimed "Famous Balboa sandwhich." Might sound pretentious, but customers seem to agree that the garlic butter topped Balboa, a sandwich customers can add their own selection of meat and cheeses to, is worth the hype. Out of 32 reviews on Yelp, Biederman's has received an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

1) Six Burner Bistro at 13 S. Main St.

Looking for fine dining in a college town? Then look no further than Six Burner Bistro. Customers enjoy the converted 19th century farmhouse that offers fine American steakhouse cuisine. Customers also say the various specialty soups are a must-try. The calamari, steak and Swordfish all received high marks. Out of 63 reviews on Yelp, Six Burner Bistro received an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars and claimed the top spot as the customer-rated best restaurant in Plymouth, according to Yelp.com.
