NH1 Top 5: The best restaurants in Nashua
Looking to grab a bite in the Gate City? NH1.com took a look at what customer-reviews on TripAdvisor.com, a website that allows users to write reviews for restaurants, hotels, etc., calls the five best restaurants in Nashua. In order to make the list, there must be a minimum of 30 reviews on each restaurant.
Author's Pick: The Nashua Garden at 121 Main St.
If you like Boston sports and sandwiches, the Nashua Garden is the place for you. Seriously, the sandwiches are wicked awesome. With specials like "Larry Legend," "The Esposito," "The Big Poppy" and even "The Buckner," you can't go wrong. There's also a ton of sweet sports memorabilia on the walls and, for those of age, plenty of beers on tap. If you're looking for a bite in the Nashua area, this place is worth trying out - even if you're a New York fan (just don't tell anyone.)
5) Bertucci's Italian Restaurant at 406 Amherst St.
Bertucci's offers brick-oven pizza and traditional Italian cuisine. TripAdvisor says that Bertucci's is good for its bar scene, outdoor seating and late nights. Of the 110 reviews on TripAdvisor, 35 called it "excellent" and 53 called it "very good." The majority of reviews indicate that the pizza is excellent and worth trying. The wait staff has also received high marks on a number of comments.

Lilac Blossom is a Chinese restaurant that customers are saying offers excellent cuisine. Out of 140 customer reviews, 68 called it "excellent" and 43 called it "very good." Customers have rated the twice cooked pork highly and say the lunch special is the way to go.

La Carreta is a Mexican restaurant that caters to a wide variety of potential customers. TripAdvisor says it's good for families with children, the bar scene, large groups, doing business and special occasions. Out of 160 customer reviews, 85 called it "excellent" and 46 called it "very good." Customers recommend the salsa and the grilled steak tacos.

Surf is an American seafood restaurant that also adds plenty of "turf" dishes like steak, chicken and burgers. Out of 184 customer reviews, 106 called it "excellent" and 56 called it "very good." Customers gave Surf high remarks for the fresh fish and good service from the wait staff. Customers most recommend the oysters and the tuna. There is also a branch of Surf in Portsmouth, in case you're on the Seacoast and looking to try the restaurant without traveling as far.
1) MT's Local Kitchen and Wine Bar at 212 Main St.
MT's will be featured at N.H. Restaurant Week 2015 from March 20-27 and will feature special lunch and dinner prix fixe menus for $19 and $29, respectively. The restaurant features a variety of food including burgers, pizza, salads, specialty dishes and more. Out of 192 customer reviews, 122 called it "excellent" and 53 called it "very good." One customer called it "upscale food in a bistro setting."
