NH1 Top 5: The best Manchester restaurants with outdoor seating

MANCHESTER - We've already explored some of the best restaurants in the Queen City. But this great weather really had us thinking, "Where can we grab an awesome meal AND eat outside?"

So we went back to Yelp to discover what the 5 highest-rated restaurants (minimum 50 reviews) with outdoor seating are in Manchester.

Take a look! Totally agree? Think this list is awful? Let us know in the comments below.

5) Cotton at 75 Arms St. - 4 stars

"Excellent food, service and nice outdoor patio. Close to the river front and walk to downtown."

Cotton is known for its atmosphere and different take on some foods. But it also has a patio folks are quick to take advantage of on a nice summer night. Weekday business hours are 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. (10 p.m. on Fridays), 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

4) Hooked Seafood Restaurant at 110 Hanover St. - 4 stars

"The service was impeccable and the summer nights outdoor seating was wonderful to enjoy after a long work week."

Their outdoor seating section was mentioned by more reviewers than any other place on this list. Hooked is open 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. (10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday) and opens for lunch Wednesday through Friday. Hooked is known for it's seafood but if that's not your fancy, Ignite is there to offer a pub menu, too.

3) Mint Bistro at 1105 Elm St. - 4 stars

"The decor and ambiance was nice and there was seating outside!"

Mint is a trendy spot in town that offers a little bit of everything - but most reviewers take time to mention the sushi. Business hours are 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and they're also open for lunch Wednesday through Friday. The priciest restaurant this list, Mint also takes pride in the plating of its food.

2) Republic Cafe & Bistro at 1069 Elm St. - 4.5 stars

"Hands down my new favorite place in ManchVegas!! Now that it's summer time, you can sit outside w/ a glass, or bottle, some fresh food and just relax. Doesn't get any better!"

Republic offers Mediterranean cuisine and coffee, and most reviewers go for a lighter meal. Business hours are 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on weekdays and until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The friendly staff and tasty food have the customers coming back for more.

1) The Gyro Spot at 1073 Elm St. - 4.5 stars

"It's not incredibly expensive, it's fast, and you won't find friendlier service anywhere in the city. Plus, they offer outdoor seating in the summer."

The Gyro Spot also took the took the No. 1 spot in the overall list we published, so we weren't surprised. Business hours are 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on weekdays and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. You can usually get out of the restaurant for under $10.
