NH1 Top 5: Movies you may want to see this summer

Summer is coming, and so are the blockbusters. NH1 News has a list of five fun films that we think you will enjoy.

This order isn't necessarily a ranking, we just tried to grab a little something from each genre, and threw in a few surprises as well.

So without further adieu, check out the list below:

1. Captain America: Civil War

Release date: May 6

Rating: PG-13

There are quite a few superhero movies to look forward to, but if we had to narrow it down, this clash of Marvel titans should be a battle for the ages. Here's a trailer.

2. Finding Dory

Release date: June 17

Rating: (Not yet rated, but it's a kid's movie)

Dory, the blue fish from Finding Nemo just kept swimmin' right into her own movie. If this new movie from Disney Pixar is as much fun as Finding Nemo, it should be a treat. Enjoy the trailer.

3. Independence Day 2: Resurgence

Release date: June 24

Rating: Expected to be PG-13

It's a bigger, badder alien invasion than ever before in this sequel to the 1996 original. The sheer global scale of the action should be worth admission and popcorn prices.

4. Elvis & Nixon

Release date: April 22

Rating: R

NH1 isn't going to try to speak to the historical accuracy of this movie based on the meeting of Richard Nixon and Elvis Presley, but the tongue-in-cheek subtitle about the meeting of
"two of America's greatest recording artists" plus a hysterical trailer makes this movie look like a great time.

5. War Dogs

Release date: August 19

Rating: R

This story about two opportunistic guys who land an arms supplying deal with the Pentagon, has a cast which includes Bradley Cooper and goofball Jonah Hill. There should be a lot of action, plus a lot of laughs.
