CLAREMONT - Parents say a daycare center shut down without warning leaving its users with an unexpected dilemma.
It is reported that the owners of Kidsview Daycare called every parent and left voice mails, but many claim they were in the dark and found out by word of mouth days before the center shut down, leaving them scrambling to find replacement care.
The Claremont campus was locked up when NH1 visited. The playground was empty. No one answered calls, only voicemail messages.
Andrew Milan did not use the center, but can understand why some people are upset.
"I'd be so upset because I'd have to look for another area to bring my child," he said.
A teacher listed several reasons the center had to close. The owner had a health condition, the teachers did not work well together, and the parents were not paying tuition.
There is another Kidsview facility 40 minutes away in Enfield. Parents have given reactions of saying they were lucky to get their children, and tuition is more expensive.
