NH1 News Investigates Addiction Front Lines: Children in Crisis Part 2
We continue our series Addiction Front Lines, Children in Crisis. In Part 1, we introduced you to Cody Ferry, a 21-year-old Manchester man who has been battling an addiction to methamphetamines and living on the streets since he was a kid.
Unfortunately, there are a growing number of people like Cody in Manchester. Their stories illustrate a critical need for basic services for the city’s young people — food, safe shelter, and meaningful drug and mental health care.
Since our first story aired, Cody has made some progress. We sit down with his mother and sister to find out how he is, how he got to where we found him, and why the family isn’t celebrating just yet.
