NH1 News co-hosts presidential candidate forum on national security, foreign policy
CONCORD – With just two months to go until the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary, an impressive list of surrogates from six of the leading Republican presidential campaigns gather for a forum titled America’s Global Leadership: What’s at Stake in 2016?
The event is being organized by the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, a broad-based influential network of 400 businesses and NGO’s, national security and foreign policy experts, and business, faith based, and community leaders from all 50 states who support a smart power approach of elevating diplomacy and development alongside defense in order to build a better and safer world.
The event, which is being held at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College, is co-hosted by NH1 News. The campaign surrogates discussion will be moderated by NH1 News political director and anchor Paul Steinhauser.
The surrogates for the campaigns include:
Bush Campaign: Judge Michael Mukasey, U.S. Attorney General (2007-2009)
Cruz Campaign: Former U.S. Sen. Bob Smith of New Hampshire
Carson Campaign: Major Gen. Robert F. Dees (Ret.)
Fiorina Campaign: Former U.S. Rep. Robert F. Dees of Maine
Kasich Campaign: Former U.S. Sen. Gordon Humphrey of New Hampshire
Rubio Campaign: U.S. Rep. Chris Stewart of Utah
