NH1 First Alert Weather with Cyrena Arnold: June 6, 2016
It's going to be a wild week coming up because we will see a 40 degree temperature difference between Monday afternoon and Thursday evening. We start off warm, but that changes quickly and we end the week much cooler.
For your Monday, expect a foggy start to the day but we will see it clear during the morning hours, as well as see the clouds go away throughout the morning. We have a nice, sunny day in store with highs in the low 80's. It should stay dry, but with this unsettled weather pattern we are in right now, we can't rule out a slight chance of a shower any day this week. Overnight, temperatures fall into the upper 50's as clouds increase until Tuesday morning.
By Tuesday, a cold front dropping through the region will bring a chance for morning rain showers, and another chance of showers in the afternoon but it will be warm with temperatures near 80 once again.
By Wednesday we start to feel the effects of that cold front that passed through and we only warm up into the upper 60's and low 70's with, you guessed it, a chance of showers. Overnight Wednesday into Thursday, it's going to get very chilly with a lot of places seeing lows in the 40's. Higher elevations may even see temperatures fall below freezing with some snow flurries. In June!
Thursday we can expect partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies with highs only in the mid 60's, so it's going to be a cooler one. It may be a little breezy as well during the day, then temperatures fall into the upper 40's and lower 50's once again before things start to warm up.
By Friday and the weekend, temperatures will be back into the 70's but those chances of showers hang around, more so on Saturday than Friday, but it's still a little too far out to say exactly who will see rain and how much, if at all.
